ITAF donates iPads to residential care center and service flats

The IT company ITAF has made five Apple iPads available free of charge to residents of the Onze-Lieve-Vrouw residential care center and the service flats in Beerse.

The idea of making the iPads available came from Chris Cnaepkens, responsible for the ITAF location in Beerse, and his daughter Zoë. Zoë recently did an internship in a nursing home in Malle and heard many touching stories about the loss of contact with children and grandchildren. That is why they wanted to do something together in their own municipality.

“The iPads will be used in the residential care center and service flats where residents are also not allowed to receive visitors until April 29 to keep their good physical health stable. That way they can still keep in touch with their loved ones,” says a satisfied director Luc Stessens. Chris Cnaepkens and daughter Zoë hope that other colleagues in various municipalities will follow their example. “Together we can make a world of difference for the residents of the residential care centers. Let us keep that in mind during these corona times,” says Cnaepkens.

We would like to thank Chris Cnaepkens & HLN.be to make this possible together.
