Main Purpose
ITAF is a managed service provider that delivers IT services & infrastructure to customers (SMB). As a Modern Workplace consultant, you will design and implement the ideal technical architecture based on the needs of the customer using Microsoft 365. Additionally, you will also have a leading role, meaning you will impart your expertise to the rest of the team through knowledge-sharing sessions. This makes you the point of contact within our team for everything related to M365 productivity-apps.
You report to the Head of Operations.
The job content
Solution Design & Leadership:
- Lead solution design sessions and align technical architecture with customer needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions support business objectives.
Implementation & Configuration:
- Set up Intune and MDM solutions for secure device management.
- Configure SharePoint sites according to the AGDLP principle.
Migrations & Integrations:
- Migrate on-premises Active Directory to Entra.
- Plan and execute migrations to Exchange Online.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement conditional access policies, including MFA and compliant devices.
- Apply DLP/Sensitivity labels to protect customer data.
Knowledge Sharing & Support:
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill the team.
- Provide 3rd line operational support for complex issues.
Technical pre-sales for modern workplace solutions
- guide sales towards making the right customer proposals.
3rd line operational support for modern workplace engineers
- Document standard procedures allowing project managers & modern workplace engineers to progress future modern workplace tasks.
Setup onboarding & offboarding processes for customers:
- Onboarding & offboarding of employees
- Onboarding & offboarding of devices
Understand & propose the services ITAF offers when a customer needs them.
Core Job competencies
- At least 5 years of experience in the IT sector & Microsoft 365.

- Your communication & team skills must be on point. You will work together with other colleagues & you will also work together with customers (onsite).
- Dutch and English should be no challenge.
- French is a nice to have.
- You can visualize ideas clearly in an understandable way to colleagues & customers.
- You are not scared to bring unwelcome news or implications to customers. You understand that in IT challenges come up. You understand that we can always help the customer to face those challenges if the customer is aware of the cost implications.
